Watching the stars
I already posted this picture before.
It wasn't stolen from the web, I took it myself in San Pedro de Atacama in Chile.
When C and I heard about Alain, the Astronomer, we looked at each other and decided 'Yep, definitely'
It wasn't cheap at 25 euro each, but we got a 2.5 hour intro to the sky, and it was amazing.
I don't know why, but I first expected to be inside. I soon realized when driving to Alain's house in the desert, and observing the sky that we would stand outside, and that I f* could see the Milky Way without a telescope.
It was freaking cold, but wonderful. Just staring in the sky and wonder about these millions of stars, and millions of years.
And then Alain started to talk, and to point to the stars, show us Saturn, and see the rising of the moon.
A must do when you are around...
