Club Med Part 1...

So we arrived here yesterday. Got a nice walk around, and admitted, the smell of salt and beauty care immediately made me long for the real thing.
That real thing got delayed a bit, due to our delay at the airport.
By now, I don't regret, as, after my first day of snowboarding, I feel like, hell, like what? I feel every muscle in my body, that is...
Why? Because after a morning with Yin, our cameraman, who gave up his classes decided to picture the beautiful Mont Blanc in the afternoon, I ended up with a private teacher showing me all corners of the baby and junior 'piste'
And how did I see all those corners: if it wasn't my but who fell on them, it was my nose, or one of my knees.
I have to admit: it worked: snowboarding gets learned by falling, and by now, I already surfed a tiny part of the mountain, even taking turns.
(I know some of you laughing now, but let me tell you: taking turns is hard. Really hard.)
So here I am, glad to have discovered the junior snowboarder in me.
But please excuse me, as I need to run to my private massage lady, to bend my body back into the right position :)
My 2cents: coming to ski out of the season is just great: you probably pay less, and get more, as the teachers are having classes with 6 tot 10 people, and sometimes even 1 or 2. Making it well worth spend money.
All classes also have the advantage of using the elevator faster than normally, skipping long waiting hours.
And while my night sleep wasn't perfect due to missing my girl and a heavy wind, this morning we discovered everything was covered with a nice amount of fresh snow, while the sun peeped out, promising us a perfect day?
