What do I do, what do I want to do?

Sometimes people ask what I do for a living.
I am a photographer, but no thank you to wedding photography*, unless in very special conditions (family, friends, or you're able to convince me -better get me drunk for that-, or better: you promise me to let me do it 'my way' without being disappointed afterwards)(Actually, this no to wedding photography is mainly due to the fact I don't like to make albums. So, it's a good idea not to ask an album if you want me to take pictures at a wedding ;) )

I like/LOVE reportage and documentary, unfortunately, you can barely make a living out of that.
So I often do commercial stuff, mostly in the area I like: reportage and once in a while even a long term assignment.
Stuff I did can be seen here.

Next to that I design sites, for small businesses at reasonable prices.
I freelance for some agencies, doing web + design, and sometimes consultancy.

Yet, I admit, I am looking for new challenges. Less executive, more concept and thinking behind everything, more into design & marketing.
I am working on some concepts, next to my dream of traveling for a year, and when the time is there, I am pretty sure I'll present them to some people.
Until then, I am always available for creative thinking and new challenges (well, when the agenda allows it; quite booked until July..).
So don't hesitate to share your ideas.

*I happily refer to Giovanni, Pietel, Marijke for those. You can mention my name. And if you were happy with this advise you always may send me a thank you card.

Become an art director in advertising. An art buyer or photo producer. Or better, work on interactive concepts for clients, both corporate websites and house style, as marketing campaigns.
