Henin won!!!

It was silent yesterday, during that last set.

Normally in the place I work, machines are noisy and the radio is never heard.
But yesterday, all the machines were silently listening to what was taking our breath: the final set of Justin Henin.

She won: 8-6, 4-6 and the ever lasting 7-5. It was a match, it was a match: 3 hours and 15 minutes. Must have been one of the longest games played by women on Roland Garros.

You were down 5-3 in the third set; were you afraid of losing?
"No, not at all, especially because I was seeing her very nervous. She was afraid to win the match; that was very clear. And when you can see that in the eyes of your opponent, that is very good for myself. The way she was playing at that point, the mistakes she did on the, I think on the first match point I played very aggressive, very good. But on the second one, she played a slice in the net, and it was, that wasn't a very tough shot. So I understood at that point I could win the match. I was very calm at that point because what can happen? I can lose the match; it's not the end of the world. And I said that to myself at the end."

Today, more silence in our workspace. Not quite the amazing match of yesterday, but a deserved 6-4, 6-2, which puts her in the semi-finals.
(And sends nr 2 of the world, Sharapova, home.)
