Some fo the days...

Today ought to be a splendid day, but...

In the morning at 8 AM, it became clear things would turn out differently.
While I looked forward to go to the blogdinner this night, these were not the plans of my boss/dad: we had to go to Antwerp.
When I say Antwerp, I mean traffic jam.
We were jammed for 2 hours in going. And it took us 2 hours in coming back.
-In those 2 hours back, Kim Clijsters LOST!-
In between, at the location NOTHING was finished like it should have been, so we were stuck there for much longer than expected, so I actually returned at 8 PM at home. Already 1h late to the dinner.

I have to admit: I crushed. The idea of taking the motorcycle for 45 min to Ghent, and afterwards returning home -another 45min- seemed stupid to do.
And it would have been, I think I would have fallen asleep while driving.

So I missed the dinner, and at home, family already finished eating...
So I had nothing... -We even ran out of bread.-
-Everybody feels sorry for me by now?-

Then, one relief: pasta and Boursin.
And Penelope Cruz in Vanilla Sky... (Penelope Cruz! She's hot...)

Not such a bad end of the day.
Well, crashing now.
