Packing stuff
Which is pretty fast -normally I do it like 2 hours before leaving, now I still have 30 hours...-
Anyhow, my trolley is a little bit too small, but heck, what does one need in 36 degrees?
I figured out that I take as much for 2 weeks as for 2 months: when having access to a washing machine, life is easy.
I also figured out that I took ALL I have, my apartment has nothing left but the new bought furniture and few T-shirts +1 trousers -tells you how much I really owe in life...- (mom won't agree and point out to her filled attic...)
What one needs in 36 degrees?
-Loads of T-shirts since you change like twice a day.
-Slippers.
-Underwear and swimming gear.
-Books.
-And camera gear and a computer when you are a photographer.
So basically my luggage is divided like: 8 kilo backpack with camera and computer. 6 kilo books. And 4 kilo cloths.
20 min of packing time. Choosing between yes and no, and in the end fill the empty space.
Left out: 1 jeans -too hot-, 2 T-shirts -I don't wear them anyway-, 1 pair of shoes. -no space-
I am as good as ready... Jihaa. Can't wait to smell the tarmac, feel the take off and land in the too humid airport of Tel Aviv.
Where hopefully a tiny green car is there to pick me up, waiting next to the palm trees, and I'll remember how hard I missed it.
Can't wait to have breakfast at George, enjoy Banana beach, and eat schrimps at a well known restaurant ;)
Hehe, counting backwards now...
