ABC is going to provide free TV shows to download
Today is a great day in history! Why? Disney co. announced today that they'll he handing out free TV downloads through their ABC.com network. They will soon start the My ABC service and it will be free of charge! It wil go up in May.
The CEO said: Viewers will have the ability to access shows such as Lost,Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy on ABC.com. They will be ad supported, free to the consumer.
ABC is the first network to show the guts to do this.
Surely this is indeed the way to move the stuff: let the advertiser pay our downloads
Willing to take advertisements for that. ;)
Pretty sure we'll hear more about these things and sure Apple is going to do something with it too. (Pixar being acquired by Disney, and CEO Jobs, it is all a little bit too conspicuous. Something must be going on. No?)
Will have to figure out a way to pass the 'US only' feature. (IP hiding must do something..)

Jobs got into Disney to be able to make a succes of iVideo, i.e. podcasting. And the us only is easily circumvented by either using an american proxy or waiting till the show is stripped of advertisments and available on torrent.
