iTunes Gift Certificates
All of you probably remember I got iTunes Gift Certificates.
I made myself an American account (due to the Certificate System, I don't need an American located Visa/Mastercard number) and I started downloading some TV series.
Now as it would seem obvious to download Lost and such stuff (which I did for some episodes) it is far more interesting to download series that are NOT on in Europe.
Like Showtimes 'Sleeper Cell'
Men, it's good: it is about Jihad in America and the part I like about it (and apparently Americans and American muslims too) is the fact that:
-it is trustworthy for the facts about Islam (they don't talk out of their neck)
-it is trustworthy about police and mistakes (they don't have high tech computers like in 24 or CSI, and police just acts stupid in several episodes, like in reality)
-it is trustworthy in the use of language. (I remember this episode in LWord and others where one speaks French like, well, I don't know like what, but certainly not like a French person. Here the French and Arabic is really French and Arabic.)
I bought 10 episodes (Season 1) for 10$ and can't wait to see all of them.
And found on their website (which isn't restricted to only Americans, like L Word...): they have a podcast on the series, just like Lost had.
They also show previews on Showtime of the series.
