Gentse Fieste
Today Gentse Feesten started. It is the largest city festivity in Europe and it shows.
10 days the city doesn't belong to its inhabitants but clearly is shared with a national and international audience.
10 days later we always have to answer on the question 'what did you do this year?' I just hung around...
This hanging around is fabulous when you know the spots where to hang around, and I firmly guide people to 'Het Huis van Alijn' which is definitely the place to go when you are here with family, friends and children.
Also this time it was fun: elder and younger people hanging around in a very folky environment. With a quiz for everyone.
My first day at the Genste Fieste: fun!
