I studied at the University College of Ghent

In the past when filling in papers it was hard to fill in the translation of 'Hogeschool'. High School has a different meaning abroad. I just filled in I studied at the Academy.
In June our school finally decided the translated name. We are now officially 'University College Ghent'

So that makes me a Master in Art, option Photography, graduated at the University College Ghent, at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts.
With an extra post-graduation diploma of Advanced Studies in Art at the Bezalel Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Israel, Jerusalem.

(Pfew, breathe first..)

Would suit well on a business card: 'Master in Art'
LOL!

AFAIK 'College' is the translation for 'Hogeschool' and 'University' for Universiteit. But I could be wrong :)

Well good for you Ine. I like my newly earned title as well: 'Master in History', Great Ruler of Everything Dead and Gone. :P

Highschool and collega have different meanings in American English and British English.

Read the paragraph "Education" at:
