Bourgie
My parents and grand-parents used to say I didn't have the tendency to save money.
I guess they never saw how I really saved up every penny, and doubted each buy for months.
But once it was decided, I would definitely go for it.
Same story this month: since months and months I saw this fabulous Bourgie of Kartell.
I did put it on my longing list for Christmas, but nobody noticed it...
I checked them online, and didn't find them less than 180 euro.
So when during sales, I came across this store, and found myself having a 15% discount + a VAT thing, reducing the price to 120 euro, I was tempted. As in 'really really tempted'.
Yet, thinking of what my parents used to say 'You spender' I doubted once again.
I passed the store like 7 times.
Longing...
I even called my mom, telling the whole thing, and she advised me to buy it. Yet I couldn't. I found it an awful lot for a lamp.
3 days she called, wondering if I already bought it, and if I really wanted it, I could better buy it now instead of next month, when the discount was gone.
'And what about saving, mom'.
'What about it? You want it? Buy it.'
So I bought it.
And I was so happy buying it.
I didn't even mind to drag it around the whole city, looking like a stupid happy kiddo.
And you know what, I really love the fact I longed for it. It made the joy so much better...
