Crusade in Jeans
Wednesday I took my sweetest babysit and Sarah to 'Crusade in Jeans'.
It was the babysit who had chosen the movie and we had to follow.
(I did read the book as a youngster)
I didn't have many expectations of a 'Flemish' movie, but it turned out to be an international production and already in the futuristic openingscene, I had to admit: this could be a good movie.
As I expected Mik, Mac & Mon futuristic (read fake and stupid) costumes, I was surprised to read Kaat Tilley did the clothing.
The photography is amazing, the music dramatic, and the result can be laid next to Harry Potter or Lord of the Ring in every way.
But pretty scary for kids. Be aware of that when you take them.
The good news: this movie is supposed to be a trilogy. All of us seemed very happy about that :)
View the trailer.
