Patrick De Spiegelaere: RIP

Patrick De Spiegelaere died unexpectedly.

He, together with Lieve Blancquaert, Kristien Buysse and and handful of others, started the new reportage photography of the eighties.
They were the front photographers of what became known as 'De Morgen fotografie' in Belgium. They opened the road to many others.

I cannot say I wasn't influenced by this 'new school'

A moment of silence in my head, and an eternity of respect.
