Archives: About me
Who am I?
Who am I?
Might be a good question.
Some years ago I would have had a good answer on that.
I would have tagged myself with a bunch of labels: photographer, web designer, and whatever.
By now I know that labels don't tell anything but make anarchy look organized.
So forget the labels.
Me is only me.
Me is my dreams that I try to realize.
So who am I?
I don't know. I don't have a clue.
Who do I want to be?
A person that has a big closet full of children books. Because they contain nice drawings. And the truth of a child.
I want a house to live in, with beautiful light. Light that smashes shadows to look at for hours.
Noises to listen to, and to smile.
And memories.
A lot of memories.
For that reason travel. Everywhere. In books, in images, in my house, in this country and in a lot of others.
Learn.
Enjoy.
Maybe I am a dreamer.
Maybe not.
If you want to stick to the labels:
I am Ine Dehandschutter,
I studied photography and web design.
& I work on independent basis (and sometimes not)
Travel the world when possible.
Don't have the house yet, nor the library of children books, but I am working on the memories, which I share on this website.
